Energetics

The technology park has its own

  • LDS (Local distribution system of electricity)
  • PV system (1MW photovoltaic power plant)
  • Siemens 630 kW battery storage to maintain grid power
  • Two independent 22kV high voltage distribution connections
  • Own gas boiler room with steam distribution and heat exchanger stations

There is a transformer station directly in TPH, which contains several transformers. These transformers are crucial for providing power to the internal 400/230V network. The transformer station is powered by two independent HV sources, which means that when the main source goes down, there is an automatic switchover to the second source. This minimises power outages and hardly affects the production process.

Furthermore, the park has a battery storage facility with a capacity of 650 kW. This battery is essential in eliminating peaks in demand and balancing the power input. This means that the battery storage helps to smooth out fluctuations in electricity consumption, contributing to a more stable and efficient electricity supply within the technology park. We have installed solar photovoltaic (PV) panels on most of the buildings in our technology park. These panels are capable of providing a total output of 1 megawatt (MW), which is a significant source of renewable energy. In this way, we are actively contributing to a sustainable electricity supply for the entire park.

PV panels are designed to use the sun's energy to generate electricity. This eco-friendly approach not only reduces our dependence on conventional energy sources, but also minimizes our carbon footprint and contributes to overall environmental protection.

By investing in solar panels, we are demonstrating our commitment to sustainability and the use of renewable energy. Our commitment to a sustainable electricity supply reflects our responsibility to the environment and supports the transition to energy systems with lower greenhouse gas emissions.
